I am honestly amazed by how quickly Kony has spread. This morning, comparatively few knew about him-I was one of the many. And now it’s spreading like wildfire. This is what the Internet is for. Change the world.

We go to competition a week from Saturday, and we still have four eight-counts to learn… But then we’re DONE. I’m so excited and happy and I can’t wait.

I absolutely love this “memory jar” idea. Throughout the year, record special days or funny things that occurred onto slips of paper and store them in a jar. At the end of the year(or whenever you need a pick-me-up), read through them all and enjoy!

We’re going back to school tomorrow, and I don’t feel ready.
Not that I don’t want to go back to school; I actually kind of do. I like routines, they help me function. Being busy makes me feel like I’m doing something with my life other than wasting away in front of the computer, or the television, or my phone…
The problem is, I don’t feel like I’ve done enough. Do you ever have that feeling? It’s like this: you have so much time to do whatever you want, and the possibilities are limitless; and yet, you waste your time away doing the same old thing (i.e. nothing). I had big plans for break; I was going to do so many things. Now that it’s over, I look back and realized that I truly accomplished nothing.

I need more time.

But don’t we all?

Lately I’ve been keeping a journal and I think that might be a reason why I don’t post much anymore. Having options for places to vomit your thoughts leads to inconsistencies, and I dislike being inconsistent. I’ve been keeping my journal current, but not my blog; I suppose I prefer the feel of a pen in my hand to keys at my fingertips.

I’ll try to post more, and more consistently, but no promises.

I will probably be taking seven classes next semester because I’m being moved up to advanced...

Last Wednesday was my birthday, but I didn’t really get to celebrate it because of the dress rehearsal of our dance concert all day. Thursday through Saturday was the actual concert, which was really such a wonderful experience-I don’t know how else to describe it. I feel so much closer to all the girls (and one boy) in my class-I think that comes with being stuck in the same room for two and a half hours at a time, with little break. Well anyway, I can’t wait until the end of the year, when we have spring concert and we get to do it all over again.
